The Funduc Search Replace script is a good place to start. It gives you all the unique X11 colour names and their hex equivalents.
The ImageInfo class part of the common11 package will be useful. For my personal use, I have written a utility to add colour names to my own CSS style sheets. I have not yet documented and formally released it. browse AnnotateColours.java source in repository and browse ExtractColours.java source in repository. You are free to cannibalise it.
