MASM
Microsoft Assembler. Converts assembler code to machine code. It can generate 16 bit or 32 bit code for DOS, Windows or NT. You can download version 8 free. The term is often used generically for any assembler code written for the Intel 80x86 or Pentium processors. The main competitor is Borland’s TASM.
