HAART
Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy. Use of a cocktail of drugs to treat HIV, usually including one or more drugs from each of the families, namely a protease inhibitor, a NARTI, a NNRTI, and possibly an NRTI.

There are two new classes of drugs coming out in 2009 that will help those whose HIV has developed immunity to the standard drugs.
